PARENT EDUCATION

Do not arouse anger in the hearts of your children, but educate them in the teachings and counsel of God (Ephesians 6:4)

Learning a job by means of an internship is now not as complicated as it used to be. Today, if a person is assigned to an internship in a department or individual business to learn a job or skill, he can do so through observation, instruction, and practice.

In the past internships often started when one was young. He lives with his teacher and lives as the teacher lives. During his life with his teacher who was a carpenter or blacksmith 24 hours a day, he watched his every action and followed his every instruction which seemed so careful but sometimes hard. He learned the skill more than just a profession. He must continue to learn throughout his life.

This concept of total life is formed through upbringing as expressed in Ephesians 6:4. The commandment in that verse applies to both fathers and mothers, and it also means more than just teaching the Bible and the Christian faith, though both are included. It is hoped that through speech and personal example, parents will nurture and teach their children what it means to live for Christ in everyday life.

Of course children will learn many things about God in Sunday School. But only from you, the father and the mother, will they see what it means to walk with Jesus in full life --DCE

EDUCATE CHILDREN AS THEY SHOULD BE EDUCATED
BUT MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE AN EXAMPLE FIRST
