BROKEN ITEMS

I... have become like a broken object (Psalm 31:13)

There are not many whole lives in this world that are useful for God. Only a few people can carry out their hopes and plans without experiencing interruptions and disappointments throughout their lives.

However, human disappointment is often God's plan. And the things we believe to be tragedies may be an opportunity that God has chosen to show His love and grace. Only by following the trajectory of the lives of these broken people will we be able to see that they ended up becoming better and more effective Christians than if they carried out all their own plans and purposes.

Are you currently experiencing a meltdown? Has something you love most been taken from your life? Remember that if you are able to see the purpose of all that through God's perspective, then you will praise God.

The best things that happen to us are not things that happen our way, but when we allow God to work his way. Even though tests, trials, and sorrow often seem harsh and cruel, that is God's way of showing His love and in the end it will be the best for us.

Remember, we now hold a promise from God: "He does not withhold good from those who live blamelessly" (Psalm 84:12) —MRD

FOR CHRISTIANS THE FULFILLMENT OF LIFE ALWAYS COMES AFTER THE DESTRUCTION
