NEVER ALONE

If someone loves me, We will come to him and dwell with him (John 14:23)

Have you ever felt lonely-really alone?

Most people will answer yes because they experience it in their daily life. I'm not talking about people who live in remote huts on top of a mountain, far from civilized society, but those who feel alone in a crowded mall, or in a church full of people.

I mean people who really have no one to hang out with. Perhaps they are new to their circle, or have recently lost a life partner. Perhaps they feel lonely because they feel different, strange, and left behind in normal relationships with other people.

Have you ever felt lonely—really alone? If ever, there is good news for you. If you have invited Christ as Lord and Savior into your life, then you will never be alone. He is always present in your life. He promised: "I am with you always until the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). Even God the Father promised: "I will never leave you and I will never forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Like the psalmist, admit that you cannot go where there is no God (Psalm 139:7).

We do need friends who appear physically, but we must not ignore the reality of God's existence. We can always rely on Him. With Him, we will never be alone-JDB

GOD'S PRESENCE IS A GIFT TO US
