And I saw that wisdom surpasses foolishness, as light exceeds darkness (Ecclesiastes 2:13)
Brewster Kahle had a big vision for the internet. He dreams of universal access to all human knowledge. As a digital librarian and director and co-founder of the Internet Archive, Kahle believes that there are many ways to harness the immense potential of the internet to change and improve our world. "I want," he said, "to build a magnificent library ... Today we can technically dream of building the Library of Alexandria." He refers to a room that is very wide and full of thousands of manuscripts in ancient Egypt so that it is called the house of all knowledge in the world.
However, knowledge is different from wisdom. King Solomon was a man of wide understanding (1 Kings 4:29-34). In good times, he uses his God-given capacity to gather information and insight from every corner of life. On the other hand, when Solomon is careless, he points out that all the knowledge in the world cannot prevent a person from losing his purpose in life (Ecclesiastes 1:16-18). Despite his knowledge, Solomon married many foreign women. In his old age, he built altars to his wife's gods (1 Kings 11:1-11). His stupidity brought him to ruin.
Wisdom is the application of knowledge. Don't get entangled in the web of knowledge without having the true wisdom that comes from fearing the Lord (Proverbs 1:7; 9:10) --MRD II
