SMALL CHANGE

We are children of God. And if we are children, then we are also heirs...who will receive it together with Christ (Romans 8:16-17)

One day, educator and comedian named Sam Levinson was standing among a group of people taller than him. Someone asked, "Sam, don't you feel uncomfortable being surrounded by so many tall people?" He replied, "Yes, of course. I feel like one small currency among many big ones!"

This reminds me that as Christians we may not be "high" in the eyes of others, and indeed the world often underestimates us. But in God's sight, we are precious!

Apostle Paul wrote, "According to human standards, there are not many wise people, not many influential people, not many people who are distinguished. But what is foolish in the world, God chose to shame the wise" (1Corinthians 1:26-27 ).

We may not have office and power in society, but in Christ we are given a position far above those who are called "foreheads" of the world. Because of our personal relationship with Christ, we have great value. Paul said in Romans 8:1-39 that "We are children of God...who will receive with Christ" (Romans 8:16-17).

No matter how much or how much mistreatment from the world we receive or how small we are compared to others, we are very precious in God's eyes. Because of Christ, our price is matchless -- RWD

THE WORLD CAN IGNORE US BUT IN THE EYES OF GOD WE ARE PRICELESS
