SPACE GARBAGE

What a person sows, that he also will reap (Galatians 6: 7)

Circling the planet Earth at a speed of more than 7 km / sec creates a collection of space debris that continues to accumulate. Bolts, nuts, and other debris thrown from spaceships are a real danger to the next spacecraft. The smallest object in space can have a bullet-like impact if it collides with a high-speed aircraft. On a space mission, a single grain of paint created a 7mm-wide hole in the plane's window.

A study revealed that there are 110,000 objects larger than 1 cm in orbit. Their total weight is 1.8 million kg! To avoid a space junk disaster, the US Space Command works for NASA by monitoring orbiting debris.

A sinful choice will lead to waste, that is, undesirable consequences. When Achan stole and hid forbidden booty, he had to pay with his life (Joshua 7). After King David committed adultery and murder, his family was divided (2 Samuel 15-18).

"The consequences of sin always increase. When we confess sin to God, He promises to forgive and sanctify us (1 John 1: 9). We can find ways to make amends for those we have hurt (Luke 19: 1- 8) .God who is full of grace will give wisdom to face the bad decisions of our past and help make good decisions in the future --HDF

What a shame to feel
for choosing the sinful path!
But when we call on His name,
He will give us peace. --D. De Haan
