The Word of God is true, He does all things faithfully (Psalm 33: 4)
One of the characteristics of a capable salesperson is that he or she has a thorough control of the product. He knows the ingredients for the product. It understands the strength of its product. He studied the benefits of these goods for consumers. And he can answer various questions raised by consumers. Sellers who do not know the product will not get sales.
In his book The Big Sell, John R. Rushmore conducted a survey of men and women who bought products made by large companies in the United States. The men and women believed that more than 80 percent of the salespeople who came to them did not have complete knowledge of the items to be sold.
Reading that, I then thought about us Christians. We have been called to be Christ's witnesses, but how well do we master our "product"? We represent Christ in everything we do and say. Therefore, when speaking on behalf of Him, we must also speak boldly and clearly. This means we must know what the Scriptures say about sin, salvation, and the human need for faith. If we do not convey the gospel accurately, our testimonies for the Savior will not be effective either.
Study the Word of God. Study its doctrines and practice. Then you will become a better witness of Christ --DCE
