Many people like mystery stories. It's fun playing a detective and trying to guess who the culprit is when we read mystery novels. But there are cases that we will never solve until we experience them ourselves.
Those of us who have watched with sorrow the death of a loved one may wonder about their new existence. Our hearts are eager to know what they are doing or where they are right now. If they have confessed Jesus Christ as Savior, we know they are in heaven. However, at this moment, there is a veil separating us from our loved ones and we cannot see what is behind the veil.
However, we have some clues about this mystery. We know that loved ones who have died are enjoying God's presence (2 Corinthians 5:8). We also know that they were recognized and recognized their surroundings just like the rich man and the beggar Jesus spoke of in Luke 16:22,23. .
More than that, we have been given this truth: God, in His matchless love and power, is planning a glorious meeting. Next, our eternal joy will begin. The last page of this great mystery ends happily -JDB
