... and I have filled him with the Spirit of God ... to make various plans (Exodus 31:3,4)
A bricklayer whose brother is a famous violinist, converses with the head of the building where he works. "It must be nice to have a big brother who is famous all over the world," said his boss, who then quickly added, "Indeed we have to accept the fact that everyone's talent is different even from the same family."
"True," said the mason. "My sister doesn't know how to build a house at all. So it's good that she can pay someone else to build her house."
This story reminds us that each of us has been gifted with unique abilities by Allah. If our motivation in life is to glorify God and make others prosperous, then we don't need to be ashamed of our profession. Exodus 31 says that God gave each person special skills. Some were assigned to do something out of gold, silver, engrave gemstones, or do other tasks in building places of worship.
If we are a construction worker, teacher, garbage collector, plumber, doctor, carpenter, writer, engineer, scientist, assembly worker, secretary, or other worker who works for the welfare of others, then we have done a job that glorifies God. . For our Lord Jesus Christ work is an opportunity to serve Him in the place He has prepared, especially for us - DJD
THAT GOD SPECIALLY PROVIDES FOR US
