COME HOME AND TELL US

Return to your house and tell everything that God has done for you (Luke 8:39)

The two young men have been friends since childhood. One man is Christian, the other is not. The second man was about to sail away, and the Christian was compelled to talk to him about Christ before he left. "I'll do it on the way to the pier," he promised himself. But by the time they got to the docks, he still hadn't.

He got on the boat to say goodbye, and thought, "When we get the baggage to his room, I'll talk to him." But the porters took all the baggage and suitcases, so they didn't visit the cabin. Finally he said to himself, "I will witness to him in a quiet place before the ship departs."

However, suddenly there was a notification that all visitors had to get off the ship. Two months later news came that the man had died abroad.

In the Gospel of Luke, we read about a man who was possessed by many demons and was miraculously healed by Jesus. With gratitude to God, he wanted to stay with Him to worship Him (8:38). But Jesus said, "Go back to your house and tell everything that God has done for you" (verse 39).

Are you ready to apply the words of Jesus in your life and tell someone about His grace and salvation? You can start it from home. Do not delay. Tell someone about Jesus, right now! —MRD
