WHAT YOUR ANSWER?

For when the sign is given... the Lord himself will come down from heaven and those who died in Christ will rise first (1 Thessalonians 4:16)

Sir Norman Anderson was invited to speak on a television show about the evidence for Christ's resurrection, topics for which he has written extensively.
When his son died of cancer, the television show's producer offered to postpone his participation, saying, "You certainly can't talk about resurrection when you've just lost a child." But Anderson said, "I'd like to talk even more about it." Thus, even though his heart was sad, he spoke with firm conviction about the resurrection of Christ and our resurrection as believers.

The resurrection of Jesus is not a myth, but a historical fact that is proven to be true. Indeed, His resurrection is an eternal fact! Jesus said, "I am ... the Living One. I have died, but behold, I live forever and ever" (Revelation 1:18).

Jesus spoke to His disciples about His resurrection and assured them, "For I live ... you will also live" (John 14:19). Paul also wrote about the resurrection of Christians, and taught that when a brother in faith dies, we need not grieve like people who have no hope (1 Thessalonians 4:13).

When Lazarus died, Jesus assured Martha that whoever believed in Him would live even if he died (John 11:25,26). Then He asked, "Do you believe this?" Martha answered, "Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God" (verse 27). What your answer? --Joanie Yoder
