When he was only thirteen years old, Yehudi Menuhin, a violinist, was invited to perform with the Berlin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. With an average audience of renowned musicians, the young genius played some of the most difficult compositions of Beethoven, Bach and Brahms.
The response to the play was so overwhelming that organizers called the police in case the crowd got out of control. Albert Einstein, delighted to hear the boy's prowess at playing the violin, managed to get past security and across the stage to the locker room. He embraced the amazing violinist and cried out, "Now I believe that there is a God in heaven!"
Although the beauty of music can be a testimony to the real existence of God, it takes more than just a concert to convince us that there really is a God in heaven, namely the revelation of God in Jesus Christ (John 14:9). Only through Christ's supernatural life and ministry in the Gospels can we understand God with sure confidence. When we read the Bible seriously, we are amazed that we can say, "Now we know that there is a God in heaven!"
