While he was suffering in hell he looked up (Luke 16:23)
The last time I looked, nobody liked having problems with money, cars, computers, people, health. We all prefer a life with as little trouble as possible.
So, if you offer other people a choice between (1) a future completely free of problems, sorrow, tears, and pain, and (2) a future full of their pain, suffering, regret, and whining would choose the first option, right?
Jesus died on the cross so that we would have the opportunity to make that choice. If we repent of our sins and trust Him as our Savior, He has promised a living fellowship with God in the place the Bible calls heaven. A place without problems. A place where there are no more tears.
People living in a world full of problems need to stand in line to grab the offer. Unfortunately, many people haven't heard the good news yet; while others refuse to believe in Christ. When people die without Jesus, they will be too late to accept the offer, and they will be headed to the place of torture that the Bible calls hell.
Do you hate trouble and pain? Turn to Jesus and accept His offer of forgiveness. Your problems in this world will not disappear, but God has prepared a house in heaven where joy and peace will last with God --JDB
